Resource Management Plan Overview
The Natrona County Parks Department required KLJ to use a collaborative process among interested stakeholders, neighboring agencies, property owners, volunteers and user groups, and Parks personnel and Board members to develop a comprehensive, mountain-wide Parks and Recreation Resource Management Plan (RMP) including but not limited to non-motorized biking, hiking and Nordic trails, campgrounds, campsites, playgrounds, buildings, parking lots, and utilities.
The RMP built upon the
2004 Casper Mountain Land Use Plan—an Amendment to the
1998 Natrona County Development Plan—particularly the goals, policies, resource management directives and implementation strategies pertinent to Parks and Recreation development.
