This Office Handles the Following Type of Cases:

• Family court (divorce, paternity, child custody)
• Civil disputes for amounts over $7000
• Criminal (felony only, no misdemeanors or traffic violations)
• Probate (guardianships, conservatorships, wills)
• Juvenile*
• Involuntary Hospitalizations*

• Receipting and disbursing of child support

We act as the Appellate Court for courts of lesser jurisdiction (Circuit Court and Municipal Court) in Natrona County.

We are a court of permanent records, and our cases go back to the 1890's.

We handle jury trials for the Seventh Judicial District Court. Jurors are summoned for a 6 month term, during which they only need appear if called by the Clerk of District Court's office. The fee for jury duty is $30.00 per day plus mileage if you live more than 2 ½ miles from the courthouse.

Effective 1/1/08, the Natrona County Clerk of District Court Office no longer accepts passport applications.  Please contact the Clerk of Federal Court or the United States Post Office for passport applications.
