Come Play In Our Backyard! Its pretty amazing!

Posted on March 20, 2020 at 10:36 AM by Tim Petrea

  • Outdoor Recreation opportunities  for March 20th
  • We had a couple of inches of new snow on the mountain over the last couple of days. So, we were able to groom this morning. All trails but vindicator and 2 cross trails in the Maze were groomed. The Trails are the best that they have been in a week. Please be prepared for Spring time conditions. Some of the ares will be extremely icy and in the afternoon expect some areas to be slushy.
  • The Parks, Recreation, and Leisure Services office is closed to public today and during these times of social distancing. Please feel free to email any concerns.
  • The Nordic Trail Center is closed for the Season effective immediately. This decision was not made easily. We encourage all of our outdoor enthusiast to use to the grounds to Ski, Snow Shoe, hike, fish,  and enjoy the fresh air.
  • We have many areas through out the county for people to get out and enjoy during these difficult times. Please contact our offices if you have any questions.
  • Get out and play in our backyard today!
