The Natrona County Sheriff's Office is one of the largest law enforcement agencies in the State of Wyoming, serving a countywide population of about 65,000 citizens and covering about 5,500 square miles. We employ a total of 159 people with 120 sworn officers. We also operate one of the largest jails in the state with a total of 460 beds.  The Natrona County Sheriff's Office has resident deputies at Alcova Lake, Casper Mountain, and Midwest. The Sheriff's office also contracts with the Town of Bar Nunn for their law enforcement.

As part of our community policing efforts and to promote your health and safety, we have a 911 system questionnaire which can be used to provide information about your health to be put on the enhanced  
911 computer.
