Absentee Voting Information
To register by mail (absentee registration) during the 14 days prior to election day, you must also request and vote with an absentee ballot.
You are also required to send a copy of acceptable identification with your Voter Registration Application and Absentee Ballot Request before an absentee ballot can be sent to you. Please send a copy of your Wyoming driver's license or another official photo identification such as another state's driver's license.
The HAVA act of 2002 requires that if you register by mail to vote, the first time you go to your polling place to vote you will be required to provide acceptable identification to the election official in order to vote, even though you have shown ID to the notary or registry agent when you completed the voter registration.
