4-H Program

General Information

4-H is the youth component of the University of Wyoming Extension.  They join a community of young people across America that are learning leadership, citizenship, and life skills.

The 4-H program is an informal, practical, learn-by-doing program for youth.  The purpose of 4-H is to assist youth in acquiring knowledge, developing skills, and forming attitudes to enable youth to become self-directing, productive members of society.

4-H Project Areas

Professional and volunteer staff provide educational opportunities in the following project areas:  Animal Science, Expressive Arts, Healthy Living, Leadership & Civic Engagement, Science & Technology, and Natural Resource Education.  For more information about what we have to offer, please obtain a copy of our Welcome to Natrona County 4-H Brochure (PDF).

4-H Membership

You must be enrolled with ACTIVE status to participate in all 4-H activities.  You are NOT covered by 4-H insurance and will not be allowed to participate until your membership is ACTIVE status and you enroll in ZSuiteIf, at any time during the process, you have questions, please click on ZSuite Live Chat Support found in the lower right corner of the screen.  One of their friendly and very knowledgeable representatives will be happy to help you.
