Clerk of District Court

District Court is a court of permanent records. Our cases go back to the 1890’s.

We handle the following types of cases:
  • Civil
  • Criminal
  • Probate
  • Paternity
  • Juvenile
  • Adoption
  • Confidential Adoption Intermediary

We also act as the appellate court for courts of lesser jurisdiction (Circuit Court and Municipal Court) in Natrona County.

Email Filings

 Effective 12/7/2020 attorneys may now file by email pursuant to:

 Order Amending Rules 4,5, and 39 of the Wyoming Rules of Civil Procedure (PDF)
 Order Amending Rule 4 of the Rules for Fees and Costs for District Courts (PDF)

  • Must call for permission to file by email
  • Attached documents may not exceed 50 pages total
  • Fee to file by email is $1.00 per page with payment to be mailed within 24 hrs. of email transmission.
  • An emailed confirmation will be sent when the pleading(s) are accepted and filed. No other notification or copies will be sent to filer unless prior arrangements and payment have been made. Any submission not in compliance with the amended rules may be rejected, a notification will be sent with the reason for rejection.
